Advanced Sports – Ages 7 & 8

“Once you graduate from intro to Athletics”

Central Outlaws – TGHA – Petri Figure Team-

Total Baseball – Ithaca Youth Soccer Academy

As an extension to the philosophy of Intro to Athletics, players ages 7 & 8 will be offered a similar opportunity of continuing cross training thru a variety of different sports and skill development programs. This program requires players to be fully registered and paid within the organizations mentioned above.

These programs do require a modest entry level program fee, plus require insurance, but include more advanced training techniques and instruction by professional coaches with enhanced practice drills and game experience opportunity. Each organizations registration fees are different.

The collective efforts by these athletic clubs are to create athletes, not sport specific players. We understand as players get older, the opportunity to compete in athletics will narrow and kids will select their own specific specialized sport. However, at the early ages, we feel it’s the obligation of athletic clubs to offer and work together to create programming and schedules that allow players to participate in a variety of sports.

Community Recreational Center, Lansing Rec Department, Petri Skating Instruction, Finger Lakes Regional Hockey Assoc. – Central Outlaws, Tompkins Girls Hockey Association – TGHA,  Ithaca Youth Soccer Academy are committed to providing an affordable program format and a sensible schedule that allows parents and players the opportunity to participate in multiple, quality athletic programs.  The “Intro the Athletics” programming is administered by experienced coaches with an emphasis placed on creating a positive athletic experience for all that participate.

All sessions are hosted at The Community Recreational Center 1767 East Shore Drive, Ithaca, NY 14850- www.crcithaca.com   / A 501-C3 NOT FOR PROFIT CORPORATION.
